Brilliant Beginnings Preschool
I'm ECSTATIC to announce that school will be in session this fall! (2008)
Enrollment will begin in June.
I will happily accept any children who will be turning either 4 or 5 years old during the school year. (Pre-k) who are potty trained and current on their immunizations.
August 26th is the deadline for registration. As a special promotion I will waive the $20 registration fee for those who enroll before June 1st.

Grammy loves to volunteer in our classroom! She is great at building blocks,
doing puppet shows and reading with the kids. When Grammy is not spending time at Preschool, she enjoys card making, reading, going for long walks or bike rides and spending time with her 6 grandchildren. Grammy is no ordinary Grandma. She's young, energetic and full of life.

Miss Morgan is a phenomenal teacher!! She thoroughly takes time in preparing her classroom and giving her full attention to teaching and educating. Miss Morgan truly cares about each on of her students and that is truly felt as you enter her preschool. She has an excellent curriculum for the students and my son LOVES all the fun dynamics that she incorporates into her lessons. Miss Morgan also does a great job of keeping the parents informed of everything that is going on by way of newsletters, calenders and website. I looked around and found no other preschool that could offer what Miss Morgan offers. I am VERY impressed with Brilliant Beginnings Preschool and I highly support and recommend it!! I would not send my children anywhere else!

"I love Brilliant Beginnings Preschool for my son. He has learned so much beyond my expectations. The class size is small, which I love, because my son gets more individualized attention from Miss Morgan. He comes home and talks about the things he has done. I often catch him singing songs that he has learned at school. I love that the focus is on the alphabet and that the curriculum is designed to focus on a different letter each week. He recognizes letters and letter sounds and tells me the the letters that he recognizes. My older son went to 2 years of preschool somewhere else and my son at Brilliant Beginnings has already learned more in one year than my older son did in two years. A little bit about myself, Miss Morgan.
My love for working with children really started at a preee-tty young age. It is definitely safe to say that I have ALWAYS enjoyed working with preschool age children. Always!
At 16 years old, I jumped with joy at the opportunity I was given to work as a Child Care Provider & Assistant Preschool Teacher for a local day care. Yep, I was merely 16! It was my dream job. I couldn't wait to leave highschool on the days that I got to work at the Preschool.
As a senior in high school, I completed a full-year internship at Timpanogos Elementary School in Provo Utah. I spent my weekday afternoons in a 1st grade classroom! It was AWESOME. I worked alongside the teacher, focusing on phonics/reading and teaching the students sign language.
After I graduated from high school, I furthered my training and education at Utah Valley University in Orem Utah, in the Early Childcare and Education Program.
While attending UVU, I worked as an Onsite Coordinator for Grandview Elementary School in Provo Utah. Where my job included; organizing and running an after-school program, teaching Pre-K summer school, working as a student advocate and well, filling in as a substitute teacher (my favorite!).
My most recent job, before "retiring" to be a stay at home mom, was as a Teacher for Adventure Time Preschool/Daycare, also in Provo Utah.
My ultimate goal through all of the above training and schooling, was to open my own Preschool.
I am happy to say that I have accomplished that goal!
In 2004, My husband and I built our first home. We specifically designed the basement as a classroom, knowing that I would one day teach there.
Well, the basement sat with it's cement floor and walls for awhile as we put our energy into starting our family.
In 2007 we decided that it was finally time. We completed the basement and went to work putting our business, with all that starting a business entails, together.
In 2008 I began teaching, fully enrolled.
Now, I'm doing the job that I love, and enjoying every minute of it!

USBORNE BOOKS
I love Usborne Books. They are high in quality and in content. I use them in my curriculum and with my own children at home. For more information go here.
We will have a class book order monthly, through Usborne.
1 or 2 books will be highlighted each month that are specific to our classroom curriculum. This is a great way for you to reinforce at home, what your child is learning in class. You do not have to purchase these specific books, all Usborne Books will be available to order each month. Any book purchasing is optional.
All credit for purchases will go toward books for the classroom.

For The Children
I want the children to feel a sense of safety and security while in my classroom. I want them to feel love and acceptance, individuality and challenge, direction and purpose.
I will create a classroom with all of these aspects; an environment which will allow
the children to learn and grow.
For The Parents
I will work to create and maintain a good relationship with the parents of my children. I will provide detailed information on classroom activities, goals and progress feedback. I want each parent to feel comfortable leaving their child in my classroom, with the knowledge that their child is safe and well taken care of. I desire to form a partnership with each parent, to be approachable as a teacher and to make sure that each parent knows just how thankful I am for their children.
For Myself
I will do everything I can to see that each need is met within my classroom. I will do what is necessary to make sure each child knows that I care for them and that I want them to succeed. Their development is important to me. I commit myself to continual learning and training. I will strive to help each child develop at his or her own pace.
